facebook status - School Bus Converted into Mobile Home

In this incredible conversion we see an old school bus turned into a mobile home. The all wood interior really gives this mobile home a comfy feeling. There's a fully functional kitchen, a wood burning fireplace for heat (the bus is undoubtedly poor for insulation), a futon for sitting/sleeping, a desk and shelves with lips to prevent items from falling out when the road gets bumpy. These old school buses are not known for their fuel efficiency, so gas is probably expensive. The trade-off is of course mobility, and the ability to park/sleep in pretty beautiful locations that a [moderately priced] hotel would be hard pressed to match. The experience of travelling/living in one of these is truly unique.

facebook status - The Hemloft - Secret Tree House in the Woods

Former Canadian software developer and current carpenter Joel Allen built a unique egg-shaped tree house, The HemLoft. It is located in the woods near Whistler, British Columbia. The exact location of the house is a secret though, because Allen built it on Crown lands – government property – without permission. Allen had to hand-carry all of the materials out to the site and carry the construction waste back out. The HemLoft is a treehouse in the truest sense: the entire weight of the egg-shaped structure is supported by the tree around which it is built. Allen’s complete story of the HemLoft, as it’s known, is epic and far too long to encapsulate here. facebook status - Jared Clark - Bleed from the Face

Jared Clark uses his face to prop up magic markers and let them bleed onto the paper. A rather unusual concept, that he regularly performs live during his exhibitions. The resulting pictures are above all colorful and chaotic but at the same time they possess some kind of innocent beauty, reminding us on our first attempt at drawing in kindergarten. Anyhow, their origination process raised a smile in our faces and we wanted to pass it on to you.
